Hurdles Were Hefty in Advancing Bill

Delegate Ware and the other Roanoke Valley legislators won a hard-fought victory with passage of a bill that will allow Roanoke to open its schools before labor day.  Delegate Bill Cleaveland introduced the bill and led the charge for its passage.  Delegate Ware, along with Delegate Greb Habeeb, Senator John Edwards and Senator Ralph Smith, helped to line up votes for the bill.  Click here to read more about how the Roanoke Valley delegation worked together for Roanoke's schoolchildren.
